He has a monthly column in SecEd Magazine which is distributed to every secondary school in England and is a member of SecEd’s editorial board.
He is the author of numerous best-selling books for teachers – published by Autus Books – including ‘How to Become a School Leader’, ‘Leadership for Learning’, ‘Ofsted Thriving Not Surviving’, ‘The IQ Myth’, ‘Teach’ and ‘Teach 2’. He also edited ‘SPaG Book’ and ‘Outstanding Literacy’. His latest book, ‘Making Key Stage 3 Count’, was published in the autumn of 2016.
His education blog has been voted one of the UK’s most influential and receives over 50,000 visitors a year.
